How to Log into MT5 on Windows

Logging into MT5 for the first time? Here’s how to access your account on windows, pick the right server, and check that your platform is live and ready to trade.

Hi and welcome to this Daman Markets tutorial on how to log into your MT5 account. Once you’ve successfully opened your account, you will be emailed your login details, and you can download the platform from our website. Once successfully installed, you open the platform and wait for it to load up.

Once it loads up you will be greeted by this screen. It will say Daman Securities L.L.C, you click ‘Next‘ and when you get to this page, you need to say, ‘Connect with an existing trade account‘. Here you would need to input your account number. I will input mine for testing purposes now, and then your password goes in the password field. And if you have selected a demo account, select the demo server. If you’ve selected a live account, select the live server.

Once you’ve imputed the details, click ‘Finish‘. If you pay close attention to the bottom right-hand corner here, where you’re seeing in this case the 71 / 2, that demonstrates that you’ve successfully connected. You could further confirm this by seeing the price tick up here on the chart.
